Scarecrow is a private farm sensor dashboard. It shows temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and battery status for sensors installed at a specific farm. Access requires a login provided directly by the farm's operator -- there is no public sign-up.
The app stores your login credentials (hashed, never in plain text) and the sensor readings from your farm's own equipment. It does not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any other data from your device. It does not use analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.
Sensor data is only visible to accounts the farm operator has created. Nothing is shared with third parties.
If you enable notifications for a sensor event, the app may play a sound and show an alert while the app is open. No data leaves the app to deliver this.
